Pics of my Alfa...

Offline
Here's some pics of the 1984 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce I bought from tony this weekend. A few of you wanted pics so here they are...

Something's not quite straight here... maybe just the valence? Part of the lopsided look is because wide angle lense up close, and not exactly centered. But the valence is a little crooked, and so are the bumper covers. I noticed today though that there's a oil pan guard under there - bonus - hehehehe /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

Needs some work - hehehe. I'm gonna get some slipon covers this weekend so I don't tear up the foam.

Kenny - check that fuel line to the rail one more time just for S&G...

I have, it's holding up fine right now, but thurday, I'm gonna see if I can get in on a little further.

Great - I'll run by my friend's yard tomorrow

Thanks. I haven't had a chance to sit with the car long enough to see whatelse I may need yet, but I do know that the horn button lever is missing on the right hand spoke of the steering wheel - I wonder if he'd have that too?

Nah, thems mine - my slim jim wrapper on the floor too - hehehehe. I have way more than one bad habit. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif

I'll check on the stering wheel

Thanks tony! I'm gonna try to detail the car as best I can, and post some "after" shots of it later this week. Consider the above the "before" shots.

Fantastic Kenny. I'm just trying to get my GT back to "normal" and you have another great project. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/jester.gif

Yup! It's an Alfa!

Overall you have a great car to work with from the looks of it.

wow... and I thought my seats were bad in my B.... my passenger seat is concours ready compared to those!! sadly my drivers seat has a Mickey Mouse beach towel on it as a make shift seat cover to keep me from tearing up the foam.

& it only has 87,000 original miles....but it sat fro a bit with a leaking top!

Actualy it rolled to 88000 miles (88107 now) on the way home friday. Still running fabulously, and now both the brake lights work. I've been noticing a slight thumping coming from either the rear end or the rear of the driveshft at slow (parking lot) speeds until the car is warmed up (then just barely audible).

Also, one of the front tires is bigger then the rest of the tires (195/75-14 instead of 185/70-14) What size should be on the car?

And... will a normal lug wrench go on these lug nuts? I have a 4-size spinner style lug wrench (I haven't tried it yet), but these nuts are deep in the wheels and not much space around them????

You might want to tighten those rear bolts again - remember, I replaced the rear end...can't remember what I did about all those donuts & bushings though
