TR4/4A PI on a TR4? [link inside]

I'm building an ITB setup with Megasquirt engine management. The results will be more performance oriented....

Something that the FI kit in your link tends to downplay is the complexity of actually tuning the setup, using the software. It's a "process"

I will be reporting both the results of a forced induction project, as well as a FI project as soon as I can....

I think they'd work best on a modified engine. That's the beauty of this setup. Granted, it's not very "plug and play" (there is a lot of setup, trial and error, etc)

Megasquirt is neat because it's fairly cheap, allows the user to set parameters to their liking, and is available in different configurations (fuel only, spark and fuel, etc)

i think this is a neater setup than the ones in the first link. i guess it's just what makes you happy. for me, putting cheesy throttle bodies on a car would kind of be waste of time and effort. if you're going to go all out....go all out. (...like putting SU's on a rover V8....what a waste)
 
Attached is a picture of 4 38mm ITB's, with a fuel rail off of a modern motorcycle. I am building a manifold right now for setup similar to this.

I believe this setup is on Ebay right now for around $20
