Ever since the "Holy Sprite" left my yard, I've been going full speed on the Morris flatbed. I don't have the benefit of a whole gang of hardcore spridgeteers slaving away for a weekend, but here's a gallery from start to yesterday.

The 1275/5-sp went in Friday night, I hope to start the motor in the next week or two. Since it was freshly rebuilt before serving a few months in the Austin A35, I know its a strong runner. Mild street build (VP7 cam), flattops, 1.75 HIF44. It should be perfect for the truck.

I did?

yep, we had it all picked out on eBay for you, was cute a a button but had an enclosed rear.

Just to prove I got junk laying around.

When I read a thread for a Morris truck, even a flatbead, I thought you meant a REAL Morris truck!

Then I see you really want a Duett

I didn't think one of these things could be worth that much. Is it gold plated?

Thanks for the pics Donn. They are so much fun. Tis nice to see what other folks have stashed away.

It's a beautiful job on a quite fun and rare vehicle. But then I guess California had a lot of Morrises. Bruce Wyman built a nice one back in the day. https://www.rbwyman.com/id15.htm

I'm waiting til it's done and I can go for a ride in it!?
