Joeq,

Looks mighty fine. I can see why you want to insure the handsome brute. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cheers.gif

Very, very, very...nice... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

thanks, guys!

i did find a shop... it's up in milford, ct and – thanks to an absence of insurance – i'm flat-bedding it up there today. good idea about the photos!

Interesting collection of cars surrounding it too. What kind of garage do you have it stored in? Is it reserved just for vintage cars?

Congrats and welcome. Wonderful car you have there.

i'm not storing it there... it's the dealers garage.

they have one other healey, a jag xk140, and some other beauties.

Joe,

What a beautiful car! Congratulations and welcome to the forum. I haven't been lucky enough to own an Austin-Healey yet, but I hope to some day restore one..... If I could just get past this Jaguar project (or fed up enough to fold my hand).... Enjoy your Healey and post some more photos as your modifications are done if you would.

Best wishes,

Brian

will do...

the modifications won't really look like anything was done (or at least, it SHOULDN'T look like anything was done). all i'm doing is switching the gas and clutch pedals around so that i clutch with my right foot and use my left for gas and brake. from what i gather, it shouldn't be too tough.

that said, if anyone wants to weigh in on strategies for getting this done properly or things to watch out for, please do! i'll forward them along to my mechanic.

THANKS!
