AS mention in another thread I just purchased what I believe to be basically a 1967 model Midget (since there are no side marker lights) with a hodge podge of late model parts attached including a later padded dash with ripped exposed padding.

Don't really like this dash and want to change to proper era dash. The wiring is a mess with switches pulled out etc.. and I believe this is from trying to make this dash work. So I need photo of what I will be looking for. also will any year dash bolt up

I have a spare '64 thru '67 dash that I just pulled out of a '65 but I doubt that it will fit in your car without a LOT of effort.

Here's my '67.

Y'know, I know why it's <span style="font-style: italic">really </span>there but I <span style="font-style: italic">do </span>like the red strip behind the windscreen. It's kinda cool as a 'flash of color' accent. :thumbsup:

I love that type dash. Mine is PO made from a slab of oak, very Chris Craft like. I was thinking of restoring the original '63 dash over the winter (I have a decent blank) but I don't know what to do about the crash pads across the top and bottom, never seem to see any for sale......I digress. That's looking awesome.
