TR6 Pertronics Coil for 1973 TR-6

Can you confirm the coil used with Pertronics Flame Thrower Ignition Module in a Lucas 22D6 distributor (1973 TR-6)? I believe it is the 1.5 ohm ?

Thanks

Are you talking about a Pertronix Ignitor module, or something else?

Assuming it is the Ignitor module, then a 1.5 ohm coil would be correct only if you still have the stock ballast resistance wire in series with the coil. But the module needs to get full 12v from the switch.

Yes, that is what I was trying to describe. The coil is connected to the original stock ballast wiring harness, and the Pertronics module is connected to a 12 v source and energized by the ignition switch.

Thanks for your help.
