I'm considering finding some aftermarket pedals for the 6 that will facilitate heel and toeing a little better than the current ones. Does anyone know of where to get some good, quality ones? Also, can just the flat part of the pedal be replaced, rather than the whole thing without cutting it off?

There's the famous pic of him in the TR3 with the rear tire shredded and the rear quarters beat to heck from the rubber beating it.

Paddy did his best work in Mini Coopers.

...and I believe he finished the stage driving on the rim. I think that was the incident that ended his stint at Triumph. Gotta admire a guy that would compete that hard.

Heel and toeing is fun, and if you do it right on the road, it saves the synchros and clutch, even if it is to a minimal extent. Plus it smooths out the ride a lot when downshifting.
 
I think it's 'because you can'.

If we start applying reason and logic to the things we do in & with these cars we'll all end up driving Toyotas.

Creative! The heat resistant foil in the footwell made me laugh though. Once my car is up to temperature, I don't even need the heater, enough comes up from the floor to keep me warm!
