Pedal Pads Dilemma

I am trying to source a pedal pad for a later 1500 Midget. It using a differ. acc. pedal than the earlier Spridgets. It seems the usual source only have the floor hinged type. I just got some Ford pads from Pepboys tonight that fit the Brake/ clutch perfect but the acc. is a bit different.

Scott,
No rubber pads on the track, just metal. Add some welds to give them texture if you like. The rubber seems to fall off at the wrong time.

Thanks for the heads up. Maybe Ill do some skate board grip tape like I had on my street car. That seemd to do the trick. You going to be at Pocono for May 3rd?
 
MGB brake or clutch pedal pads fits the 1500 gas pedal perfect. That's what I am running on a few of my Sprites, the 1500 hanging pedal with MGB pads.

That's what I used for my steel track pedals in the past.

Yes.
Correct.
I drilled mine with several small holes near the right-side edge of the brake pedal and added some small bolts/nuts (I think 6-32) to give some texture to the surface.

take the rubber OFF. Use adhesive backed no slip material for showers on all pedals. If the adhesive is suspect use contact cement.

The beauty of the suspended throttle pedal is you can tweak the rod left or right for easy foot transferr.

Also you might put a throttle stop on the bulkhead in front of the go pedal. And also on the clutch arm.

Dont forget your r.h heel rest if you use one and the dead pedal for your left foot.
