I have been fighting several fuel issues on my 63 B this week. I finally got the new fuel pump installed and replaced the leaking float, Life seemed good for the first half mile however:

I must have bumped the PCV valve working on the float. As I roared down the road the thing fell apart. My lovely wife and I found all the parts except the top metal cover for the valve.

Do I have any options here.

Just stick in any PCV valve from your local parts store (correct direction please!) until you get the replacement pieces for the original. Depending on how original you want your car to look you may leave the aftermarket one in there permanantly. It will work fine virtually no matter which one you use, but I would look for one that fits a 1500-2500cc engine if possible.

Like Bill said, you can put a piece of hose running from the tappet cover to the intake, with a newer PCV valve installed. You could buy a new valve, but if you are only missing the top cover, I would bet that someone here may have one laying around. I'm fairly sure I don't, but I will have a look around and let you know.
