gotta be translated to read "ornery and mule-headed." Just finished sealing up the heater/demister ductwork and controls for the diverter flap... due to an extra bit of insulation we had to cut longer tubes for the defroster: schedule 20, 1.5" PVC works perfectly! Cable attachment through the right side heater vent. Whew! It took a chopstick, tongue positioning trial-and-error and some very long thin needle-nose pliers to guide the cable thru the pinch-bolt working "inverted" through a 2"x4" opening. A third hand would have been desireable, mebbe another joint in me wrist... Drain tube from the fresh air side was made from a piece of 3/4" heater hose forced over the steel down-tube, with a piece of bicycle innertube at the bottom for a substitute for the "ball valve."

Now it's all buttoned up, and as an added bonus it all WORKS!

YAY! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/hammer.gif
