Parts Sources for '62 MKII Saloon?

I am about to re-acquire a '62 MKII Saloon that I once owned. I bought it from the original owner who told me it was a special order car from a dealer in San Francisco. The car has been sitting outside for the past 20 years because the guy I sold it to wouldn't put it inside. I know that he started taking some of the interior apart with the intention of restoring the car, but he lost interest and just let the car sit. It has always been a California car and it was my ex-wife's every day driving car. My plan is to restore the car once I get it back to my garage, but I have never restored a Jag and would like to know the best sources for parts. I understand that some of the dash board wood has been "lost" because that's where the restoration started (and stopped). I know some of the usual British parts suppliers as I restored several Morgans and Triumphs (TR3s) but I would like to know good Jag parts suppliers.

Thanks,

Ted

You have XKs Unlimited in Obisbo CA, SNG Barrett, Terry's Jag, Welsh Ent. and some here like me have MKII used parts (I parted 2 cars). Search Jag MKII parts and they should show up and you have this forum.

Thanks for the information Larry. Once I have the Jag in my garage I will be in a better position to determine what I need.

Door cards were destroyed as doors were off junker.

do you have a light switch with the 4th position for the fogs?

No fog position on my switches, but do have a pair of yellow fog rangers in fair condition.

toast, and double toast. i have some reproduction fog-rangers on i would have preferred original but they go for crazy money on ebay.
ill pass todays project is pulling the exhaust so i fit the new gas tank.

I gave up on the original 4-position headlight switch because on Position 4, (Fogs), the switch is designed to turn the headlights OFF, and I wanted the opposite, Headlights and Fogs or Driving lamps ON together.

So I wired my auxiliary driving lamps by themselves.

I had one but i let the magic smoke out, so I'm using the original 3 position switch.
