Where is a good place to gets parts for a sprite if Moss and VB do not have the part? I need one upper trunion and two thrust washers. Are there many of these early side curtain cars around? I have only seen one at our British Car Show. Thanks and have a good day!

John - I have an AN6, love the side-curtain cars!

Shawn,
I need the thrust washers that go underneath the trunions. Moss does not sell them except in the major suspension kit. I can make my own but I am not sure of the thickness. I figure somewhere around .100". My car is a HAN6L6788. Thanks and have a good day!

John, if Moss doesn't have the suspension bits you need, you could try Peter Caldwell at World Wide Auto Parts (https://www.nosimport.com).

The side screen Midgets are the rarest of the Spridget family of cars. They're very similar to a Bugeye from a mechanical/suspension standpoint, though.

I would guess that the stock shims are in the region of 0.010 or less. Several stacked usually.
