Parts color

the bump boxes are black I believe. At least that's the color I did my BT7. And if you mean rear brake drums, then silver is original, but a lot of folks paint them black to show off the wire wheels.

Black is correct for the boxes..............Silver is correct for the drums. At one time I believe Alan Hendrix was using a dupli-color number DE 1615 Aluminum available at Napa and I am sure other outlets. I think this is close to original; you may want to check with Alan to see if he has found anything better.

Silver drums is correct, but there's no contrast with the drums and the wire wheels. I painted my drums gloss black and they disappear and showcase the chrome wire wheels. Use Hi-Temp black paint.
