TR2/3/3A paper air filter for tr3

Those are the ones I use. You may have some trouble with them hitting the inner fender, especially if your motor mounts are a bit weak and/or sagged. I massaged the inner fender a bit, to get enough clearance.

The only other options I know are the cone-shaped K&N filters (which aren't really paper), or some of the after-market foam filters. I believe it should be possible to fabricate a housing that would hold TR6 style cartridges and fit on the TR3, but I haven't tried it (yet).
