I am again thinking of replacing my steel wheels with alloys, although I would still love to find some nos steel wheels.
Google search only finds Racetorations in UK with 15x5.5 panasports ,four wheels over 2k pounds and I didnt get to shipping,so not an option.
Are there any USA Panasport dealers.Moss only lists Triumph for TR7&8.
I cant find a home page for Panasport and there seems to be Panasport Lite and I guess Panasport std.
Any info appreciated.
Tom

Do they have to be panasports Tom? What a minilites?

Cheers,
Tush

Thanks for all the replies and info.
Thanks Joe for their home page which shows the f-z in 15" and panasport z light in 14,15&16 under street wheels with no explanation of difference, but I guess the lites are lighter.
Also no list of available widths.
Sportsandcalssics in Conn.have the best prices I found for the panasport Z 15x5.5 @ $279 each and I could go pick them up.
Thanks Dave for the Revington link which show the steel wheels in 15x5.5 but back ordered.avalailable soon and about 680 for 4.Maybe I will wait awhile.
Also looks like I would need to add the hubcap mounts.
Tush,The minilites at 200 are tempting and I may go that way,but think at 279 the panasports would be my first choice.
Tybait,I missed TRF because I searched for panosport, but they are more expensive, unless they are different than the lites.
thanks everyone,
Tom

You make agood point Malbaby.Maybe tthe Panasports are a little to blingy for the preriod look.
Got me thinking,again.
Thanks
Tom

Hi Tom,

I’ve got JBW minilites on mine...looks like they are about $529 US for the set of 4. I don’t believe shipping was overly expensive.

https://www.johnbrownwheels.com/products/jbw-55-x-15-minilight.html

I’m quite happy with mine.

Actually, that price above includes VAT so you wouldn’t have to pay that...without VAT, looks like $442 for a set of four plus shipping.

Cheers,
Tush

Thanks for the link Tush. They do look nice.
I dont know the offset and fitment correct for a Tr3 and they dont seem to list by car model.I could probably just call or email them.
The shipping looks to about 170 us to New Jersey so maybe the least expensive option with lug nuts and caps included.
Thanks
Tom

I think I have the boxes for mine still if you want me to check if their is a part number on them. Let me know please.

Cheers
Tush

Thanks Tush ,I would like the part numbers.
I have Emailed John Brown for the fittment for my TR3 so I will be sure.I also asked for total price, since I dont know about VAT and the weight.
What size tires are running?
Thanks
Tom

I believe I’m running 195/60/15 (might be 65)...I’d like to check but the cars still in storage. It was snowing for a little bit here today..

I’ll have a look at the boxes.

Cheers,
Tush

Tom

Seeing this thread, I feel the need to share my experience with a 1961 TR-3 and aluminum wheels. I had a very nice 1963 Volvo 122S as my first car in college. I decided, while in my first year of graduate school in 1966, that I needed a sports car. I found one at a used car dealer. It was a TR-3 in dark green with very nice aluminum wheels, but it was parked against a wall. I traded in my Volvo and drove the TR-3 home. When I got out I walked around the car and saw that on the passenger side, there were 2 stock wheels. I then put the aluminum wheels on the back axle and drove it that way for 2 years until I got my MGB.
