Anyone have a recommendation for a rattle-can color for my 59 Bugeye stock wheels?

Moss part number 220-560

Ben,

Will be done, Will be done.

Thanks for the info. Great looking car. Let the restoration continue.

Just in case you're interested to know /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/laugh.gif .

I used only one can of paint for all five rims. But, I only used the expensive Moss paint on the outside (face) of the rims. I used a cheaper engine paint that was very close to the original color on the back and inside of the rims. Since I had my rims blasted it took much more paint that a respray would.

I think they turned out great!

I only used one can as well for both sides and the inards as well but mine were epoxy primed.

I just recieved my wheel paint from eastwood. It is exactly the same color as the original and only $10 per can compared to the moss stuff. Nice and thick too. It is labeled detail silver, item #10004 Z. They quote "This Detail Paint provides the correct 'warm' silver for many wire wheels, including MG, Triumph, Austin Healey and Jaguar." I also applied a thick coat of epoxy primer all i have to do now is spray the final coat. Has anyone else put a light coat of clear over this? I was thinking of a satin clear coat.
