Hi there I see your based in Ohio. I'm up in Manitoba, which is not that far, and I was wondering if there are any wrecking yards down your way that still have old British cars laying about or have they all gone to the crusher decades ago? Karl from the Triumph Forum

Most wreaking yards here have been cleaned of old British cars. You may find MGB's, Midgets and Spitfires here and there but any thing older has been snatched up or was in too bad of shape to use. Garage and barn sleepers are still out there but even they are getting few and far between. Are you looking for anything parts wise. A few of us have been hoarding parts for years.

Eveything I know of round here has been pretty much cleaned out of any old stuff, British or other. You might find the odd bit like a head or wheel, but
parts cars are long gone.

I spoke to a guy up near Lancaster when I was looking for an E-Type: he told me he had about twenty old Jags, at least ten of which were E-Types, all parts cars, at his place. He invited me to go up and look, but admitted they were in a real mess, dotted around on his property. He had no website, no email address, just an ad with a phone number in Hemmings.
