The Collings Foundation had their P51,B17,& B24's in
town this last week. The P51 was a two-seater,& you could act-
ually fly it for about $2400.
I heard it outside,& was able to watch it do a quick climb,
a few maneuvers,& then head out towards the ocean.I was think that
it's a lot of money, but how many chances would you ever get to do-
that.I would imagine that it would even cooler if you were a pilot.
I saw a couple of Vespas heading down Highway 101 (at speed).
I can't imagine taking a long trip riding one.
I one our local motorcycle dealer's windows - an early RM400.
I haven't seen one of those in ages.Not a great handling bike,but
they sure look nice.

We saw these 3 planes back early in the year at Jacksonville. First planes our 6 year old grand daughter had ever been in. She loved going through the B17; several times. It's amazing to watch the B24 coming in. I never saw the P51 in the air as we left before it took off.
