Overseas [UK] Lotus Suppliers?

Anyone have info about any overseas Lotus suppliers that will ship to the USA? Seems like the U.S. suppliers order some parts from the overseas suppliers then resell them. I'm just curious if I can get some parts from overseas to save a buck or two.

Don't get me wrong, I've had good experiences with the local suppliers and I think they provide good service and prices on domestic sourced parts. But when they "have to order it from the UK", I wonder why I don't just do it myself.

Thanks!

These guys are very close to where I used to live, and have an excellent reputation.

One consideration.......watch the exchange rate. You will not be charged VAT since the parts would be for direct export, however, watch the freight charges as these can kill you. If they ship via DHL you may save some money, as DHL are trying very hard to gain a foothold in the US market. Another heads-up concerns the duty payable in the USA. You will most likely receive your parts before getting an invoice for import duty in the mail. All things being equal though, there are certainly savings to be made by going direct. Good luck!

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated!
