Overflow copper tube from carb manifold ?

Hey all,
Been so hot only take the old gal out at night but was working
on her today and after putting back into the garage, noticed
where a small amount of gas is coming out of the small copper
tube that acts as a drain ? from the front end of the intake
mainfold. Could gas be accumulating since all I was doing is
moving the BN6 in and out of the garage and only running it
for a couple of minutes so I didn't gas myself with fumes ?

Never noticed this before and to be truthful, didn't even
notice the copper tubing was from the bottom of the manifold,
thought it was the overflow tube from the SU's. Does this
sound right since perhaps it would be very rich starting up
and only idling for a few minutes tops ?
Thanks,
Mike

There is another one at the back end of the manifold too.

Yes Mike, that sounds about right to me and that is what those
little copper tubes are suppose to do when a surplus of fuel collects in the intake manifold.------Fwiw--Keoke-- :driving:

It clould also mean a leaking jet/diaphram. Turn the key "on" without the engine running and listen for the fuel pump to run. If gas starts coing out of the copper pipe you have problems.
