Can anyone recommendation a shop to rebuild an OD trans?
I believe its a J-type and for my dads TR6. The trans is locked up and needs to be gone through. He is in Palm Springs. We would prefer a shop we can drive to. It will be difficult for him to ship / receive it.

Perhaps you can find a shop that can do the R&R and shipping - then John can do the repair & rebuild.
