TR2/3/3A Overdrive emblem on TR3A?

Has anyone put an overdrive emblem on the back of a TR3A? I am thinking about putting one on my TR3A but was wondering if there is one that would fit and how it might be mounted. I have looked on eBay and there are quite a few listed from Fords, and Plymouth. I saw one of the TR6 types also. Thanks for any ideas someone might have!
Regards, Bob

Me too John. But then my TR3 is hardly original. TR6 wheels, low profile Hoosier racing tires. electric fan, alternator, back end overriders on front instead of bumper, roll bar, air dam on front, LED indicator lights for overdrive, 2nd gear overdrive capability as well as 3rd and 4th, headlight relays, paper air filters with chrome covers, silver and red racing stripe down the middle of the car, Miata seats, rubber floor mats instead of carpet, vintage license plate, LED rear tail lights, Halogen headlights, extra mini-fuse fuse box for additional electrics, spin on oil filter, racing number magnetic decals on bonnet and doors, grey front fenders with rest of the car old patina black, dual TR250 style rearview mirrors mounted using windshield mounting holes. And I may have missed a few things. :D

Go with the early Spitfire Overdrive script!

Bob,
Since you have gone that far, then why not. Maybe mount on spare tire panel, lower right corner to be similar to the TR4 and 6.

OK...now it's sounding pretty cool. You're gonna have to post some pics!

Thanks Randy!! I was not aware of the Spitfire emblem. I Googled it and it looks just about was I was looking for. I like the scrolled script writing, and it doesn't look too large. And it's Triumph!! Thanks Marv, good idea to put it on the spare tire panel. Now to find one that has similar patina to the rest of the car. I'll see what's on eBay or the Spitfire section of BCF.

Suggestion (sorry about the wrong marque):

Thanks Dan! I like that! Can you tell me the length and height of that? Appears to be a nice size. Also, is that stock on an MG?

I am straying off topic a little, but with all the mods on the car you should consider rack and pinion steering, I have driven a couple tr3s with the setup, I believe the TR7 rack works better than TR4-6. Feels like a whole different car, much more modern.

Hi, Do you have any pics of the front end of your car? I'm interested in the rear overiders on the front in lieu of a bumper

Rack and pinion steering sounds good but I haven't decided that I want to do that. I will have to take some pictures of the front end and the over riders and will post them.

Bob, I would like to see more than just the front end and over riders

Cheers
