overdrive check ball diameter

I have somehow managed to lose the check valve ball that fits inside the solenoid of an LH overdrive.

Could anyone tell me the diameter so I can find a substitute?

Is it the same diameter as the one in the pump?

Thanks, Jack

I went through this a few years back but one thing is certain. The two check balls are not the same diameter. If reversed the overdrive will not want to return to straight drive. I'll see if I made a note in the service manual and post it.

This is what I have found...diameter of overdrive solenoid check ball is 0.187. The pump check ball is 0.218.
