Wow, used it on my second set of cockpit suround and windsheld posts. Sure cleaned the anodizing off in a heartbeat. Used a bit of steel whool after it sat for 15 or 20 min. Now for the polishing. Got to get some more of that and some different grades of steel pads before I start though.

Now what do I put on it when bright and shinny to keep it that way??

Question, what does that stuff do to the rubber like that around a windsheld glass and the frame. Any idea or do I need to test carefully.
 
Think the idea came from Trevor. Anyway it works.
 
Definitely not rubber friendly. I did mine when the windscreen was apart. It isn't my idea, it is all over the internet when you search for stripping anodizing. Part of my aluminum I have used Zoopseal. But some of it I just polish with mothers metal polish about 2-3 times a year.
