For years I've had trouble with my TR6 outside drivers side door handle. You had to push the button in very hard and even then the door would stick. Today, I finally fixed it since I had to take the door panel off anyway to get at the window winding mechanism which was skipping cogs. Two 5/16 bolts hold the handle to the door. Undo those, take off the handle and turn out the adjusting screw a couple of turns or so, then tighten the little locknut. Reinstall the handle and enjoy your door as it was meant to open from the outside.
