So, one of the couples at the 50th was Theron and Carlene (hope I spelled that right  ) Anyway, their rubber bumper Midget is without a doubt the prettiest one I have ever seen. I love the colour and really believe it works with the rubber bumpers. If I had seen this car first I might never have converted Ms Triss. I also wanted you to see what he did with his dash and door caps - very elegant touch!

He lurks here, so maybe if we're all really gentle and hold out little treats he will come to play.

Very nice.

There are many lurkers. Often I run into people and they talk to me as if they know me. Finally, after racking my brain as to how I know them they will say "I read your posts on the BritishCarForum, but never post anything." (or something to that effect).

Ok JP I am now registered! Carlene and I had a nice trip home. The car ran very well. We drove a total of just over 1900 miles for the week. I'll have to figure out how all this forum stuff works. Later I'll try and post a few pictures and tell what all we've done to our car.

It's one of the downsides about this forum, that so many don't post with a real name.

Real name and location! It's nice to have that information when looking for parts or offering help. I travel throughout the southeast and would like to be able to help when the need arises, transporting bulky parts, looking at potential purchases, etc. And most importantly talking to nice people with my same interests!

Theron, yours looks like a very nicely restore Midget. Great to have your here. And by all means, please post photos of your restoration, etc.

One of the key assets of a website like this one is to share our restoration and maintenance journeys with others. So please, give us some photos.

Here's a photo of my MK III '74 Midget:

Looks like someone went ahead and built the Midget LE.
