Interesting talk from a rock star - and - missile defense expert? Jeff was instrumental in introducing the Aegis cruiser as an integral component of the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS) (a program I have "some" familiarity with, wink wink nudge nudge)

He is not a rocket scientist, but he is a brilliant thinker who has had a lot of influence on the development of our missile defense system. He wrote a white paper on using Aeigis as a part of the BMDS system and the big wigs in the Missile Defense world were so impressed with his paper that he ended up becoming a consultant with TS+ clearance.
