It's 1946, the bombings have stopped, and Britain begins recovery. Standard Motors no longer manufactures DH Mosquitos for the RAF, and their newly-acquired Triumph Motor Company subsidiary promotes its new line:

I just completed reading Mr. Churchill's books on WWII. These photos help transport my mind back to that time period in World History. They also lend to the process of enthusiasm turning to excitement within me, as I anticipate the delivery of my '59 TR3-A this coming Saturday.

Nice. Had a friend who had 2 an 1800 roadster and 2 Mayflowers back in the sixties. Also ran across a Mayflower at a used car place in Southern Maine (they often have a lot of interesting cars on their lot) about 7 years ago. I'd gone down to look at a Crosley powered midget (3/4 midget?) and there was the Mayflower. Looked complete except the transmission was in the truck.
