Brosky was lucky with his accident.

Hey they are only cars.

Last old lady who utter'd that sentiment after her old man took away my GTV as we set off for the Glen thought I was the Devil incarnate, Tom. She likely pee'd herself as I was bashin' on the top of the fender with my fist to allow it to clear the hood so's I could open it to make SURE there wasn't a positive lead grounded from the damage... She scuttled back to th' Buick rather quickly. :smirk:

nice parts car. (oops, did i say that outloud?)

A great candidate for a Ratco frame. Even has a Nardi wheel.

Peter......this one's going around in 6-Pack too and in looking at that passenger side picture it almost looks as if the impact hit above the frame. It would be an interesting car to get on a lift and really inspect it. There's no reserve so it will sell but it has a salvage title so I guess that means you can't put it back on the road with its commission number.

If I wasn't so busy, I would go for it. And in Maine, we don't have titles for cars over 20 years; all we need need is a bill of sale. It looks to be a great car to swap parts from. But looking at the dash, it would need a new tub at least. Otherwise it looks very nice. Probably have to clean the driver's seat bottom lol.

I wondered about that and tried to look closely. It appears that there are vertical cracks in the windshield that don't show very well in the photos. No way it couldn't have broken, given how much the windshield frame is twisted (albeit smoothly and not kinked or crumpled).

I'm not an expert in this area, but I'd suspect a major struggle (and likely not totally successful) in straightening out that A-post and the rest of the body tub in that area, assuming the chassis is ok. Too bad....
