Hi All -

I'm actually getting an early start on my 'winter projects'.

I've started the dampner to shock conversion (front)and have run into an issue with the size of my Delco alternator (it's just too big).

I could get it to work with drastic moding, but would be quite willing to purchase a newer / smaller version. Through the BCF search method -- I've found the following:

* Early 90's Mitsubishi
* 91 - 93 Ford Festiva
* Delco Single Wire (74 Camaro); great but large

Unless I have the Mitsu info wrong; it just wasn't much smaller than the Delco (I went to AutoZone last night and spent 20 min looking over their shelves). Does anyone have a specific model (either P/N or Car Type) of a significantly smaller unit?

Thanks and Merry Christmas.

George

Sprite nuts favorite and probably the next one I fit came off of late 80's early 90's Mazda pickup. Think its a Mitsubishi. Nice and small.

I like this one and have installed them numerous times on different British cars. I have them converted to 1 wire.

No new hardware required unless you don't already have the factory alternator bracket. You can use the generator bracket with a long bolt and spacers too, if the look doesn't bother you.

And that's not even a A+, it's a Marina engine (with Cooper S head), and those engines were sold there. Though how many people actually bought the Morris/Austin Marina.

Hap has a A+ for sale right now. (almost free maybe) And actually I would also like to have an A+, but they use a different distributor and I would still have to get it from England.
