For anyone following the Austin 7 caravan across the USA, I had the pleasure of joining the caravan in my TC (along with one other), on the final leg of their journey to the Pacific Ocean and the Western end of Route 66.

I snapped quite a few photos, but here is one of my favorites of the Austins and their crews parked on the Santa Monica Pier.

For anyone not following the trip, check out their web site and travel log here: https://a7route66.typepad.com/

I'm very glad they made it, what a trip.
Nice team.

Thats a cool trip, but I was a little confused about their trip to NM. They talked about going from Santa Fe down to Albuquerque. The only problem is, Rt 66 goes east from Albuquerque, through Edgewood (I know, I live half a mile off rt66). So if they really took rt66 from Texas to Albuquerque they would have gone through Edgewood (My town) and not Santa Fe which is an hour north of Edgewood.

Don't know about that, but I do know they took some side trips, like Las Vegas. Rumor has it they are driving to Beverly Hills today. The men had better hide the credit cards when they reach Rodeo Drive!
