I took my Spit up to the Oregon Trail Rally Sat. Here is some video.
Oregon Trail Rally 1
Oregon Trail Rally 2
Oregon Trail Rally 3
As you can see the weather was very Oregon appropriate. My car was a muddy mess after driving on miles of wet logging roads to get to the spectator areas. It was fun though.

Not what I was expecting.I was thinking road rally.
Thanks for sharing. Was that Glenn Wallace's Cortina MKII
at the end of video #2?

I don't know who any of the drivers were. This was my first time watching a stage rally. I'll be back next year though. Hopefully it will be above 40 degrees and no rain would be nice. It is Oregon though.

Looks like every Subaru WRX in Oregon was there. Subaru: the official car of Oregon.

I used to photograph rally for a living (until I was almost killed), been to Oregon Trail many times. Fun event, but it almost always rains

A couple of years ago my son and I took a winter drive to the top of Crater Lake. A total white-out, got covered by the snow plow once, slow going. Got to the top at the observation post and could only see white rabbits eating marshmallows with their eyes closed. Were passed once by a Team Subaru WRX that was screaming to the top. When we finally caught up with them (they had stopped), out stepped two movie-star quality people, the guy looked like a young Robert Redford and the gal, the co-pilot, made you want to go home and slap your old lady. Must be nice to be young, good looking, and sponsored by Subaru.
