For snitz-n-grinz. Kodak seems really proud of the $tuff now. If I knew anyone around here who would be interested in analog B&W photography as a hobby or learning experience, I'd consider bulk loading again. Two Watson bulk loaders sitting in a drawer gathering dust.

First roll will go thru the FE, still waiting for the F-2's return.

Likely will soup it here and scan the negatives to see the results. Although there's plenty of print paper, there's no way I'm inclined to set up for making prints again.

You could park yourself at a local coffee shop with the FE in a conspicuous spot. There are a few people at the one I go to that shoot film or are interested in learning.

Good point. Plenty of places in the USF area, may give it a try.

First roll loaded in the FE. Forgot how heavy it is with the MD-11 compared to the D7500! And noisy.
When I commented on the weight difference, Mitsy matter-of-factly said: "You were younger." Ouch.

You could quiet it down a LOT with a sound blimp. I won't comment on that weight gain.

I wonder about those new 1.5v AA lithium batteries. They look like they are 40% lighter than alkaline. 8 batteries could add up.

Along with a sound blimp, add an old "Steadicam"... o_O

I felt sorry for the MoPic guys back-when, an Arri with a "mouse ear" 400' mag & battery belt, strapped into a Stedicam rig.

Steadicam operators are almost superhuman. Catlike in their strength and grace. They have to concentrate on the frame, yet be aware of what's around them if they are moving backwards.

Christopher Nolan has put IMAX cameras on steadicam rigs in a few of his movies now.

Second roll of T-Max now in the FE, got the developer delivered but have yet to hunt down the Rapid-Fix I know I've got here already. Waiting for the F-2's return to run the last roll thru it, then I'll mix the chems and process all three at once. If I get anything interesting I'll post it.
