Wow, I'd never heard about that! What a cool car that would have been.
 
Italian bodied Chrysler, shame as it almost made it here. If you read up on the Andrea Doira, the design of the ship helped her to sink due to the bulkheads being to low, as in the Titanic, plus the captain's fault for not adding seawater ballast before the trip on a high riding ship said it took to much time to do! :rolleyes2:
 
I love the cantilevered top.
 
Side view of the roofline kinda reminds me of the AMC Marlin a bit.
