till we hit the 7K mark. Wonder how many are active.

Not nearly enough. But the "core" group are a fun lot! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbsup.gif

A lot of us are here every day, but only post when we need help, because most of you know so much more than we do that it seems we have little to add to the issues. It's sort of a strange feeling, because it almost seems like taking advantage of the situation. But if you don't know enough to participate, it's silly to add your two cents worth. It's almost like sitting at the dinner table with a large family that you just met, and not knowing what to say to them because they're all talking about something that they know far more about than you do. It's not that you don't want to join in, it's that you usually don't know what to say, so you listen and learn and then go do more research based on the things that you're heard on the threads. It's still good to feel that you are a part of such a thing, though!

But we like to hear from you all. That's how we learn.

And I've done far more 'learning' than 'participating', but it will come round. When BCF hits 10,000, I might be able to offer something! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Bah, Baz. Forget what it was at the moment but you gave me pause one day to reconsider something I was doing.

It took me a while to get to the point where I felt I had something to add to the technical discussions other than more questions, but I got there eventually. Spend enough time around these silly little cars, and you will learn some things that you can share.

Yep - I do a lot of reading and learning. No longer worried about asking dumb questions - still concerned about posting dumb answers.....

While I'm not new to the old car hobby and restoring old cars, I am new to LBCs and this forum has helped me a great deal. I appreciate the assistance I have received. As I learn more about my 76 MG Midget I hope that I can help others.

I've done more learning here in the past year, then I did in the 7 years prior being an LBC owner. Granted I came in here with some knowledge but you guys are more than teachers you are also confidence builders as well. 3 Cheers for the BCF.

Jack, look what you started! All endorsements for the forum!

yea, but it is only one page so far.

MORE questions sparks more indepth answers and makes more people think thats gets more responses, that gets more people asking questions, that gets more people answering, that gets more people questioning the answers, that gets more people thinking, that gets more people WANTING to ask more questions, that gets more posts from people that dont usually post, that gets more.....get the point?????
