All,

I have recieved some inside the "Crime Scene" tape pictures from of the close-up aftermath of the ongoing fires in Australia.

These pictures are from fellow Healey owner Lance Clarke. I have put Lance's pictures on the Modified Healeys web site.

To see the pictures, go to the Modified Austin Healey Registry web site and click on the scrolling banner.

I can't hardly stand to look at those pictures. I wonder how it will work out with the insurance company.

When we had out fire here in Tahoe several of my friends 60's Porsches and old 50's Chevies and a Dodge looked just like that. Sad cause there goes history as well as personal, and financial loses. I was lucky, The fire was controlled 500 feet form my home (Healey removed to safety but the tools had to be left when we evacuated) My deepist simpathy for the losses but they are safe and all the rest is stuff.
For all those in fire areas (California with our severe drought this year), Have an escape plan! Take pictures of everything now! (open drawers in tool boxes and photo there too), keep reciepts, check your insurance. But protect your lives first. God Bless and stay safe. This IS scary!!

The loss of the cars is unfortunate, but the terrible loss of life is difficult to accept.
