...Jenny and I pulled into a driveway in Escondido, CA and set eyes on the Tunebug for the first time. This was after 1.5 days of driving through nasty weather (snow, rain, etc.) in a borrowed truck and a trailer with no lights. I still remember the PO opening up his garage and seeing the little guy sitting there, ready for his next adventure. /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/grin.gif

Thanks again to BCF member Grantura_MKI for his inspection, and tdskip for his offers of assistance -- some day I'll make it down your way again and thank you all in person, beers are on me! Thanks also to all of you for all your support. There's no way I could run an old LBC without all of the help I've gotten from here.

Drew, I remember when you made the drive to get the tunebug. I kept sneaking peeks at BCF to see if there were any updates. A truly memorable moment in the forum's history and a success story as well. Congrats on the anniversary.

Went out to the garage and gave the little guy a pat on the head yesterday. Got the windshield reinstalled on Saturday, so at least he looked like a car for his anniversary. No time to do any car-work this weekend, but I think I'll be drivable in a month or so.
