And a sign for checking sharpness thrown in. Pouring rain, the 80~200mm ∱2.8, wide-open, 1/200th sec, ISO at 800. Poor thing caught out in a sudden thunderstorm, couldn't fly too far at a time. A bit over fifty feet away.

Yes. And cropped. Would've upped the ISO but he wasn't holding still very long and it was pouring down. I stood in the open garage door to get that shot, he'd flown from the neighbor's fence to the sign as I was following him. Right after that frame he tool off again. Tried to follow that but at 1/200th and panning, dropped to 1/60th to better exposure if he held still. This was what it looked like:
