One tough little flower - growing in a crack in the asphalt at the end of my driveway. Found it when I went to get the mail this afternoon, about 100 degrees.

Just came back from being part of a 70 man chorus doing the National Anthem tonight at a LV IronPigs AAA baseball game. The average age of the chorus is about 60-65, and the temperature on the scoreboard when we went onto the field was 104*...and we made it too. But my long black trousers were immediately replaced by shorts in the men's room after we sang.
