I was sitting at Olive Gardens this afternoon eating lunch with the "trouble and strife" when my iPhone rang. It was my daughter-in-law calling to tell us she'd just been to the Dr and the rabbit died. Looks like it's soon to be Grandpa Basil! :encouragement:

One of the best things about being a grand parent - having fun with the grand kids, but being able to say "ok - go home now".
 
Congrats to you and Mrs Bas. There’s nothing like being a grandparent.
My 4-year old grandson asked me “when are you coming for a play date?”
I booked airline tickets the next day.

That's what I hear! Fortunately I won't have to book a flight - just make a 35 min drive.

Well, "better" is kinda subjective. No argument though that grand parenting is easier.
