Well, in an attempt to get my brakes working right, I put on speedbleeders on all 4 so I can bleed myself. When removing the right rear wheel I sheared off 2 wheel studs then managed to shear off the speedbleeder in the brake cylinder......sheesh!!! Removing the hub assembly to replace the bolts is going to be a pain.

Hmmmm, might have been a blessing in decise. Could have been over tightened at one time and just waiting to let go.

Never ever over tighten wheel lugs, chances are your daughter will have to remove them.

My granddaughter could not change a tire on her car, it was so tight that I had proplems, dam impact wrenchs set too high at the tire dealer.

I think you can replace the wheel studs with the axles in place. My memory is foggy on that... but I'm pretty sure it was a five minute job.

Might, just might get to the studs with the axle in, but then on bigee, axle is easy out and back. No problem at all, in fact only one small screw.

yeah, I got the axle out no problem. The bolts are blocked by the drum backing plate. I tried to tap them back and succeeded in pushing the hub assembly further on the shaft so when it rotates, the insides hit the brake cylinder....when it rains it pours...haha. Nothing that can't be fixed with some time and the right tools!

Well, I went back at it for a while trying to get the bolts out. They sure are in that hub good. Are they possibly presssed in? Otherwise, what would keep them from spinning when putting lug nuts on and off? I think I'm going to have to take the hub off and press them out or something.....pain!! Any ideas???

ok...I stand corrected. A night of PB Blaster and they came out with about 5-10 tapps of the hammer. Time to order new bolts.

Outstanding, order a few extras.
