One of those [better] days!

I got my TR3 back from the shop after the previous disaster weekend when I whined about having to be towed when my clutch went south and my continuing starter problems. The starter now works great(no charge) and the new clutch master cylinder kit, seals, etc were installed. After cleaning up the car I took a test drive on an outstandingly beautiful day. I got about 2 blocks from the house-- and I was dead in the water. Starter worked, all things go at the ignition, grounds, battery, etc. I thought man, somebody was really testing me. Then I spied it-- the male end of the little push-on clip on top of the distributor had broken off at the end. I push the clip on the other terminal and off I was-- A whole great weekend of charging around problem free!! I'm almost ready for the next problem!

WooHoo! I know that feeling; makes that first drive especially sweet! Here's to many more!

Best, Kevin Browne
