Packed crowd..... so did you see them in your "ute"?

Let me add this one: 'White Dress' by Sandy Denny. Sandy Denny is the original singer with Fairport Convention. She died early in life........I cant find her original on you tube, but this cover by Vikki Clayton comes close. Listening to these words lets one know life is always worth another chance.

Another good version of that song - completely acapella.

I'm watching an Andre Bocelli concert on TV right now.....there's a great voice...singing "Silent Night" in Italian & English....wow!! Heck, even his duet with Reba McEntire was something else...

I have been a fan of the voices of Jane Olivor and Timi Yuro for years, but in my ute, I used really like Thelma Lou Comacho who was the original female in the First Edition. She had trained in opera, and as a ute I used find me melting when I looked into her dark eyes. By the time the group was Kenny Rodgers and the First Edition, she was gone from the group, and I still don't know whether she left or was removed from the group, and where she ended up after that.

I like Nora Jones.

My mother used to sing "Silent Night" to us as children when she tucked us in.

Nothing beats that !!!

There is a lady at church who sounds ALLOT like her. Whenever she sings that song, I have to get up and go in the back for a while. Mom's still around, it just brings back allot of memories. I'm a bit of a sap when it comes to things like that.
