When did they change from the metal emblem to the decal (or vise-versa) on the headlight panel?

Saw that - ill-informed owner. '81 was the last year, when they began assembly in Solihull, and also when they went to the smaller, nicer looking plastic medallion.

Still, worth a look-see.
