ok I finally got to take a long drive through the norwegain farm lands and wow lovely drive.
the car pulls effortlessly up the hills
its right hand drive which is hard to get use to and the roundabout felt like a centrifuge. but really I am so happy with my purchase.
the auto box dose do a bit of a harsh kick should I top up the fluid or should i be really worried?
and I should be in D2 right? and what is "L" ? low?

happy till I pay for the new tires.

If you want a driver, I did the research on my tyres, from initial size
Pre-1964 6.40X15

1965-1972 735-15

80-series
metric 185-15

Alpha-numeric
78 series E78-15

P-metric 75
series radial P195/75R15

P-metric 70
series radial P205/70R15

What we ended up with was 15" VW Bug tyres.

I suggest Pirellis or Yokohamas, unless your going to go for a vintage brand. And yes, driving a Jag around hilly forest and farm roads is one of the best experiences in life. I like to do it at night so I can see other cars coming from their headlights. Then I can take the inside line and go faster :yesnod: .
 
I thought of white walls but figure a rain tire would be wise here.
no real plans to drive at night its sunny and summer or night and snowy. sun set is about 10:30 right now and its light till 12:30 or so.

ok Ive I've put the tire suggestions into the iPhone for tomorrow.
