FINALLY...10 years, many frustrations, lots of help from the forum, and a spring drop off to a mechanic to speed the process up, it's on the road. LOT of work still, but after probably 20 years off the road, it made a 4 hour run with no issues (except a one off rattle that might be a U-joint, and the speedometer crapping out 3 hours in). Hit 60 mph, crossed my fingers and flicked the O/D on - flawless. Tush - I'd like to bring it up your way at some point...may not be presentable enough for any TTC events yet, but she runs!
