Since the weather is getting much more like Spring, I got the Midget out of the neighbor's garage Friday, and took it for a brief spin. Seems it doesn't like being away from home (even 30 feet away!). First surprise - another antifreeze leak :(. Sigh, must be nice to hold on to coolant. Why couldn't the Brits follow Volkswagen's example and use air cooling? /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/hammer.gif.

Changed the oil today, along with changing oil in the fiancee's car, and replacing the clutch fluid in the Honda. Next surprise - leaking brake fluid. Seems to be in the front since the front half of the reservoir was low. Good thing it's silicone and not the paint-removing stuff. Surpise #3? Rodents!! /bcforum/images/%%GRAEMLIN_URL%%/cryin.gif Actually, I think I lucked out, the critter(s) just left a pile of seeds under the master cylinder. No chewed wires or hoses that I can tell, and some quick work with the shop vac cleaned things up.
