This thing has a two inch wingspan. I didn't have the right lens, it wasn't cooperative enough to stay around and wait while I changed it.

A better shot than I've ever grabbed of those creatures. Makes me want to bring a can of spray glue with me.
 
It came back this AM but by the time I got the 40mm Micro it'd gone again. Now that I'm ready it likely "has left the building".
 
They usually don't stay still long enough for me to shot them. What lens did you use and what would you rather have used?
 
It didn't seem to mind my getting quite close. Lens was an 18~70mm, would have preferred the 40mm Micro.
