On the back burner [Temporarily]

Well, our MGB project had to go on the back burner for a little while...We raise and train Thoroughbred horses and it's breeding season again. Money has to go for stud fees, etc. instead of car parts. Carla and I are both bummed but that's life. We'll be back at it shortly!

Funny how life get in the way of our fun.

Assuming I finish the Tunebug this spring (2010), I'll be 2 years behind my original planned completion date. It happens. You just have to commit to finishing it at some point -- that's good enough.

I pulled my GT into the garage, pulled the wheels and started to overhaul the brake system in 1999. Home remodelling and a whole slew of other stuff intervened. I didn't drive it back out of the garage until fall 2009. Don't feel bad.

How many projects do I need to finish that were set aside for something else.....

I normally work on one project at a time until its on the road. Then start another project while debugging the just completed one. Gary, we are ready to assist when you get back at'er. Bob

:iagree:

It seems there's ~always~ something to suck time and attention away from th' cars. :frown:

I'm glad you all understand! :smile:

You're welcome. Now, get back to work on the !@#$!@ car!

Gary;

To quote John Lennon, "Life is what happens to you, while you're busy making other plans".
You'll be more enthused when you get back at it.

Dave :cheers:

:lol:

We haven't lost ANY enthusiasm...we're anxious to get back at it. Should be by February 1st. Thanks again to everyone.

Seems that running out of money temporarily was good timing. The weather has been too cold to work in an unheated garage anyway! Maybe weather and money will coincide.
