ON / OFF for turn signal

OK, so I figured out the "bump" on the blue plastic that fits around the column on the turn signal switch. BUT, I don't have the original steering wheel and I have a beautiful Mountney. I see a few holes in the backside of the steering wheel. I can see how if a pin was mounted in one or both holes it might engage the blue plastic ring. Question: should I write to Mountney for the pins or does anyone know the length and the diameter of the pins and whether they are steel or aluminum or what? How about the split pressure pins? I don't want to wreck the turn signal switch...........I am going now to look in the VB catalogue and to email Gordon at B Hive. Thanks for comments

So I got the answer from the UK and from Gordon at B hive. There are "roll pins" that push into the back of the wheel "boss" that activate through contact the turn signal on and off ring. Gordon was nice enough to tell me they are 1/8 x 1 inch. Just put em in and voila............on and off turn signals.
